Showtime Fitness Youth Performance · Fundamentals Pilot
A 4-week youth performance program for ages 6–10, built around coordination, strength, speed, agility, body control and confidence — in a coached environment made for developing kids, not adult workouts scaled down.

For parents watching closely
Some kids naturally pick up movement quickly. Others need more opportunities, better instruction and repetition. Either way, the fundamentals matter. If you want your child to become more coordinated, stronger, quicker, more confident and better prepared for sports, this is where we start.
Why Fundamentals works
We are developing the athlete before chasing the highlight. Here’s exactly how the 4 weeks are built to do that.

Coach kneeling to teach a child a landing or footwork cue — shows real coaching, not a workout
01 / Coordination first
Every session starts with how a child moves — running, jumping, landing and changing direction with control. This is the athletic quality every sport is built on, and it’s the one most training programs skip.

02 / Real coaching, not a crowd
Groups this small give coaches room to actually teach — observe, cue, correct and progress each child individually — while your child still gets the energy and social benefit of training with a group.

03 / Strength, taught the right way
Kids learn strong movement patterns with appropriate resistance, technique and control first. Jumping, throwing and explosive movement are introduced through safe, developmentally appropriate progressions — never maximum lifting.

04 / Built-in confidence
Every athlete starts together at the same foundational level — no one is behind on day one. Small, achievable progressions give kids real chances to succeed, again and again, in a coached environment built for them.

05 / A real starting point
This isn’t an open-ended drop-in class. It’s a structured pilot — Learn, Build, Progress, Perform — and the entry point into the full Showtime Fitness Youth Performance development system.
What Fundamentals is — and isn’t
It’s about teaching them how to move, control their body, develop coordination and gain confidence — so they’re better prepared for sports and physical activity as they grow.
“We are developing the athlete before chasing the highlight.”
Who it’s for
This program is for children ages 6–10 at every starting point — already playing a sport, brand new to organized athletics, or simply needing more confidence and coordination. Fundamentals gives them a place to develop the qualities underneath sport skill.
The pilot structure
Two coached sessions per week create eight structured opportunities to learn and reinforce the fundamentals.
Movement quality, coaching expectations and foundational patterns.
Repetition, coordination, strength and movement confidence.
More challenge while maintaining technique and control.
Apply the fundamentals with greater speed and consistency.
